EXPERIENCING CLASSIC CARS
BY
MOLLY
HARMER
I have always loved everything vintage - vintage style, antiques and vehicles.
When starting at Bridge Classic Cars back in July 2022, I had never undertaken any presenting before. I have been a
performer most of my life, modelling for clothing ranges and books when I was very young to performing in shows and on
film. I have a degree in Musical Theatre which I think gave me the confidence to come to the interview for the presenter
position. At my interview I had to complete a screen test, which was extremely daunting, having to talk about a car I had
no idea about!
But I gave it a good go and it must have gone well as I9m here writing this now.
My very first live draw was for a Triumph Street Twin, I was so nervous, but with help from the team we got through it!
I feel I have improved so much since my first live draw as I have grown in my car knowledge and ease in front of the
camera. I do not profess to being a classic car expert, I am here to tell you the facts about the cars that you could win in a
fun and chirpy way, and hopefully I show my love and appreciation for each vehicle.
My role at Bridge Classic Cars has changed over the past two years.
I have gone from solely working on the competition side of the business, to
being a presenter for the entire Bridge Classic Cars portfolio and working
alongside the brilliant team to create our YouTube channel content which
covers all aspects of the automotive world.
Again, I never profess to be an expert on each of the subjects covered but an
individual to solicit and start conversations based around motoring.
There are so many different facets to Bridge Classic Cars and one of these is
that we host and attend classic car events. This is always a fantastic
experience, walking around all the classics which are the pride and joy of their
owners really brings a smile to my face.
