Talking to them about their cars is so interesting, as every car has a story and sometimes the stories have been passed
down through generations. These cars aren9t just items, they are memories and hold moments that the owners will
cherish for life which I find quite beautiful.
I am spoiled working for Bridge Classic Cars as I get to be surrounded by extremely talented car technicians, who bring
these vintage treasures back to life every single day. Coming to work one day and seeing a car as a bare shell, then the
next day it has turned into a beautiful painted work of art.
Creating the content for our channel has taken me on many adventures and it has very much increased my love for classic
cars. I have got to visit some fantastic places whilst filming from car manufacturers to museums.
One of my highlights was being able to visit the Lotus factory, it was so interesting and informative. To see the inner
workings of a major car manufacturer that delivers worldwide was an eye-opening experience. From the high tech
equipment to the scheduling of the workshop which was completely different to our workshop. Everything was timed to
the second with an imposing digital clock on the wall which was counting down from 17 minutes. There were stations for
every part of the car9s assembly and the entire factory was on a loop of 17 minutes.
This meant that every section on the car9s construction would have to take 17 minutes and 17 minutes alone!
