One of my most memorable drives was when we were filming our short film, Memory Lane. I was able to cruise around
the Suffolk countryside on a beautiful crisp spring day in a 1968 series 1.5 Jaguar E-type roadster. This car was an absolute
pleasure to drive, it started on the button every time and was so smooth. It just felt like it was me and the open road.
I think that’s the moment, I really got it. That I understood how all these classic car owners feel and their love for the
machine and the feeling driving a classic gives you. During the shoot we filmed in several different locations for example,
Seckford Hall and Felixstowe Sea front.
This meant for the day I really could pretend I actually owned this wonderful classic, driving out in public to show it off. I
always smile when I think of this day, as this was a really special moment for me.
Working for Bridge Classic Cars has let me experience the classic car world in such an exciting and thrilling way. I think I
will be a classic car lover for life. I am so grateful to be able to drive and experience them in my job.
You never know, I might, if I’m lucky, one day get my dream car, a little classic Fiat 500.
