FROM THE EDITOR
As we finally look to be leaving the winter weather behind us (hopefully), the time has come to
start thinking about show season, weekend road trips, and simply being able to enjoy our
classics on a much more regular basis.
This issue of Driver, I think, is one of the most exciting automotive magazines available right now.
Our cover car and main feature look into the incredible story of the only 1905 Riley 9hp to exist.
We also have a conversation with DRVN Design Director, Wayne Burgess who is a big part of the
team creating the brand-new Escort Mk1 from Boreham Motorworks.
We’ve also gone international recently! Some of our team has been on the move, travelling to
the Middle East and beyond. I hope you enjoy reading about some special events they attended
while over there.
I have loved seeing this issue come together and I can’t wait for you to read it and see what we
have been up to.
Thank you for supporting this project that started as a little idea but has already grown into
something so much more.
