Since April 2024, this beautiful Magnette has been my almost daily driver. Whether I was driving
her to and from work, a quick trip to the shop, or a weekend road trip, I wanted to enjoy her as
much as possible and make the most of our year together. I also wanted to treat her with the
respect she deserved and make sure that when she returned home to her owner, she was in
great shape.
As I am in the very fortunate position of working for Bridge Classic Cars, I had access to a team of
incredibly talented and experienced technicians who helped me maintain Audrey over the last
year. Another benefit of my employment is that when the weather changed over winter, I was
able to park the Magnette up in a climate-controlled bubble, in our secure storage facility.
That being said, she was never there for long. As soon as the weather was even remotely fair,
Audrey was out where she belonged - on the road, reminding me why people fall in love with
these machines in the first place.
LIVING WITH AUDREY
Owning a classic car, even temporarily, is obviously a commitment. Unlike modern cars, where
you can jump in and assume, with fairly high certainty, they will start and get you to where you
need to be, classics need regular attention, care, and understanding.
