On Saturday, 8th March 2025, Bridge Classic Cars opened the doors to The Classic Lounge for a
very special and exclusive event - An Evening with Elisa Artioli. The night was all about bringing
our classic car community together for an intimate gathering to hear the story of the woman
whose name is forever tied to one of the most iconic sports cars ever built: the Lotus Elise.
Elisa Artioli’s connection to the Lotus Elise is no secret and her story has been told many times
before. At just two years old, she helped unveil the car at the 1995 Frankfurt Motor Show, hiding
beneath the cover until the moment it was seen for the very first time. Her grandfather, Romano
Artioli, who had become the owner of Lotus in 1993, named the car after her and she has had a
deep connection to the car ever since.
