Interestingly, one of the biggest challenges Wayne and his team faced is the fact that there were no
digital blueprints of the original Escort. In 1968, Ford wasn’t designing cars with CAD software.
Everything was done by hand, meaning the Boreham Motorworks’ team had to scan real cars to
create new master data which led to some interesting discoveries.
